I’m trying oh so hard to get back into the swing of things today after a lovely 3-day weekend but I find myself relaxed and a tiny bit unfocused. =) My good friend, Moshe, sent me a text the other day telling me I needed to check out Xavier Rudd and I am so glad I did. This guy = amazing. And to me, perfect for any mellow, relaxing mood.

Xavier is an Australian singer/songwriter who’s been around the music scene for some time. He has albums that date back to 2001 with his most recent release, Koonyum Sun, in April of this year. To me, Xavier is a mix of reggae, indie, folk, rock…and in some weird way reminds me of Dave Matthews Band in *some* songs. Yeah, I don’t know – feel free to tell me you don’t hear it. =)
