When Elizabeth said she was doing Summer Music Series, I just had to participate. I love sharing my favs and since most of the world will soon be familiar (If not already) with my #1, Kaskade, thanks to the rise of EDM, I figured I would share a different vibe but that is also along the same lines.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Late Night Alumni (LNA)! Yes, they are in the world of house but primarily known for mixing dance music with strings and soft trance-like vocals from lead singer Becky Jean Williams. In addition to Becky Jean, Ryan Raddon (Kaskade), Finn Bjarnson, and John Hancock round out the group and each and everyone bringing particular skills and visions to this ensemble.

If you are looking for something soothing, relaxing and just sensual, check out their songs from any of their 3 albums. From lyrics to composition, it truly makes you feel. They have been around since 2005 but this year was their first live performance in Salt Lake City, UT on 1/12/12 and I am bummed I did not make it. Their live show really looks like something that would touch your soul.

Kaskade also features Becky Jean Williams on some of his tracks and mixes LNA tracks as well. So, if you dig their lyrics and sound, make sure to check out their other projects as well! Now relax and enjoy…
