Summer Music Series: Princeton

Welcome to day two of the Summer Music Series! I will start off by saying that I am wholehearted in love with today’s band. Princeton, made up of twin brothers Jesse and Matt Kivel and their childhood friend Ben Usen, has such a great sound. In 2005, when they were all studying abroad in London, they decided to form the band. Their debut EP, Bloomsbury, was released in 2008, then they had an album release in 2009, Cocoon of Love, and most recently, Remembrance of Things to Come, was released in February of this year.

Princeton is a mix of Vampire Weekend, Ra Ra Riot, and Geographer… a little bit of indie pop, folk, and alternative meshed into one. Sounds like a winner to me!
